Fernando Lorenzo-Raymundo, an illegal alien from Guatemala, was arrested by ICE. On March 7, he struck a man with his vehicle and left the scene. The man was crossing the street in his wheelchair and was killed. Raymundo had a previous charge of battery.

Luis Mendoza-Gonzalez, an illegal alien from Mexico, was arrested for abuse of corpse, concealing the death of a person, and obstructing justice. Gonzalez found Megan Bos unresponsive. He left her body in his basement, poured bleach on it, and put her body in his garbage can—leaving it there for 2 months. Gov. Pritzker released him onto the streets, but ICE tracked him down.
